6. PhD scholarship in Computational Synthetic Biology
An announcement regarding a PhD opportunity. The Department of Computer Science, University of Bradford, UK, offers a scholarship to outstanding
students for a 3-year PhD Programme in Computational Synthetic Biology.
Project Supervisors: Dr. Savas Konur, Dr. Refaat Hamed, Prof. Marian Gheorghe
Project Description: Synthetic biology has emerged as a promising and
powerful tool to engineer new biological systems. Both advances in wet lab techniques and progress in silico technologies have revolutionised the ability to design and construct
engineered complex bio-systems in a more efficient and sustainable manner.
3. Coming important event: Interntional Conference on Membrane Computing (ICMC 2020) will be held on 14-18 September, 2020, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Vienna, Austria.
Due to the pandemia caused by the COVID-19, the Asian Branch and the European Branch of the Interntional Conference on Membrane Computing, i.e., ACMC 2020 and CMC 2020, are united in one joint
electronic conference - ICMC 2020.
